Its integration with Floorplanner enhances productivity beyond traditional floor planning methods.

Floorscanner serves as a complementary tool to Floorplanner, a widely-used platform for 2D and 3D space design with over 25 million users globally. Utilizing advanced LiDAR technology, the app eliminates the need for manual measuring tools such as tapes or laser meters. By simply scanning your space, uploading the data, and processing, users can generate accurate floor plans with minimal effort. Once created, these plans can be used independently or imported into Floorplanner for further editing—adjusting dimensions, structural elements, finishes, and furnishings.

The app offers two primary scanning options:

• Free option (RoomPlan): Provides quick results within seconds, supports multi-room scanning at no cost.
• Paid option (WeScan): Delivers enhanced accuracy within 2-3 days. Pricing is based on a credit system tied to subscription plans and the number of floors scanned. For maximum precision, users can input two real-world measurements post-scan to achieve results with 99% accuracy.

To facilitate testing and quick evaluations, users can initiate scans without creating an account. However, to upload scans and access detailed results, registration or login is required. A basic, free Floorplanner account is necessary for full utilization of Floorscanner features; nevertheless, a black-and-white 2D copy of the floor plan will be emailed regardless, allowing use outside of Floorplanner if desired.

If you already possess a Floorplanner account, integration is seamless. All scanned and converted floor plans automatically appear within your project library, enabling easy modification and expansion as part of your ongoing space planning activities.
